Politicians kids attend schools in DC that boast armed guards, but they don't think it is a good idea for the rest of us...

How's the weather up there?   %)

Yep, I said that from the start, a 500 meter "gun free zone" around all politicians, at least the anti-gun ones! :)

We're lucky, our Congressman in VERY pro gun. About 3 years ago at a townhall things were getting a little testy so my wife (ex-cop) and I got up and positioned ourselves so we could monitor/see the whole room. The Congressman and his unarmed staff recognized what we were doing and thanked us profusely (privately) afterwards. We've since helped get his staff CHL permits. Citizens stepping up to the plate is the only answer....O.L.

OL good job Sir ^5
The idea of citizens protecting the state as opposed to the state protecting the people ,is the basis for our form of govt .

Of course this is directly related to our second amendment.

Your progun congressman is tribute to folks voting issues . Is he possibly a 3rd party candidate ?
