Title: Hinckley MN 11/24-25/2012 Winterseed
Post by: Taylor on November 26, 2012, 12:25:40 PM
My thanks and hats off to the folks who came out to experience our first Northland taste of winter this past weekend at the Hinckley Conservation Club Rifle Range.

Although we were small in number we were huge in spirit. We started out Saturday with temps in the single digits and never once duing the day did I hear any of our three young shooters complain. They were too focused on the Marksmanship and Heritage to notice. There are three future Riflemen there. Great job Chris and your wife on bringing up some outstanding young Americans.  O0

Congratulations to new Rifleman Jason who roared to a 233 on our first AQT Sunday after spending a lot of time dry-firing since his last AS in May.   :---

Great work Loech whose best was a 207. Work on that prone position, NPOA verification, dry fire and you'll have your patch next AS.  O0

It was great to have Alex (you may know him as AFTERMATH) on the line as a student Saturday and Sunday. Congratulations on your 220 requalification score with your AR carbine. O0 O0

Thank you Cooper for your usual Instructor expertise.  It is always a pleasure working and visiting with you and Jackie the Rifledog. O0

In all those pics, I only managed to ruin two of them!

This weekend was a lot of fun, and even an SI can stand to learn a few new things as a shooter.

Thanks for putting on a great shoot, Taylor and Cooper!

Rifleman and future Riflemen alike, I'll see you on the trail!
