So it looks we lost the Alb crew altogether. :'( Maybe just on a long break. ;)
So...I have noticed more than a few shooters showing up at the NRAWC from Alb. Have you guys noticed any Alb shooters at your events?
The shooters from Alb. do not seem to mind attending AS at the NRAWC in Raton, despite the 3 1/2 hour drive. Your venues are often closer or about the same drive time.
I have only done 2 shoots at the Alb public range, and IIRC, Rick Vernon is the head guy there.
The Rio Rancho (our other range near Alb.) range road is a long, rutted nightmare and I cancelled a shoot there as that range was closed due to horrendous conditions.
Been thinking a shoot in Alb. would be nice, even though the turnout is often low for such a big city and we have no local BOTG.
Your thoughts?

We have had 1 gentleman down from Albuquerque twice this year, is a Rifleman, declined the Orange Hat for now.

Hadn't considered it and would be stretching myself thin but depending on timing could be doable. Still working with the boys in Lubbock, got one next weekend....O.L.
If they are schedualed in the first three weekends of the month I'll do my best to get up that way.
With you guys moving north it kind of left a big hole to fill in the SW corner of the state.
At this time, my schedule doesn't allow for any BOTG time anywhere.

That's a real shame; in addition to TaosGlock the Abq crew at Edgewood last year was great. I can't commit to that trip, but a friend recently mentioned there being an indoor range in town. Let me know if you need me to research that as a potential site.
