Title: Full-Distance ranges in your state?
Post by: ItsanSKS on September 12, 2012, 09:00:19 PM
To all Appleseeders:

Trying to pull together the current Appleseed venues that offer distances in excess of 300 yards.  If your state has one, please respond to this thread with the range name*, maximum distance available, and the number of shooters that it can accommodate at one time.
*= Please list the range name as it appears on eventbrite

Thank you for your prompt attention,

-ItsanSKS

Another one.
Las Cruces, NM. Butterfield Range. 1000 yards. 25 shooters.
We generally use the "Covered Pistol Bay" for 25M stuff.
For KD, one has to move the shooters to another part of the range. Either 100-1000 Yd long range or the 100-500M steel range.
It's all there and more. Just the logistics of moving around.

There might be others but I will let the rest of the NM crew chime in as that is their area and I have not been there.

Roswell, NM, 600M, could probably run 20 shooters. We normally do our seeds on the 50M LE range since it's not used on weekends but I can get use of the 600M with a month or two notice...O.L.
