Glad to see the Wyoming State board up and running.
I see the first order of buisness as this: We need more instructors, IITs and folks willing to answer the call by participating with the program at what ever level you can. This may involve finding that one person you know and recruting him to come with you to an Appleseed, it may be approaching your local rifle range directors with a desire to put on an Appleseed, it might even include you personally taking charge of your duty to your country and it's liberties, to be an instructor and to educate others in the craft and tradition of a Riflemen. The time to begin this, is now.
Thanks Risky, I see you beat me to it again ;D. If any of you have an idea about promoting or setting up shoot locations in the state, Please send me a PM and we'll start looking at the schedule for next year. Risky is right about needing IIT's, instructors and other folks to get this state rolling. If you are available step up and be counted. We are looking for some good, all around, folks in the entire state. 2009 will be a good year to show the rest of the country, what we can do in the Great state of Wyoming. BTW, Risky need your dates for 2009.
I know that there are more folks here than just me and Risky. Come on lets hear who is going to be helping WYo grow this year.
Colonial, maybe there just a bit shy, but I know that a week around us will break that habit, so even if your shy or retiring, just casually head over to the regestration spot and sign up for the Boot Camp in Kemmerer, so you can help Colonial and the rest of us out with the FREE Appleseed in Douglas, as a Wyoming RWVA Riflemen Instructor.
I've been taking too many days off for shooting related stuff so I can't make the bootcamp but I will be at Douglas and I will help where I can at other shoots around the state.
I'm here Colonial and working on Laramie Rifle Range. HEY FRED. I need targets, other stuff.
I am also here to help with anything we need to get more AS in wyo, I am drumming up support in Casper and working on being an instructor. let me know if you need anything or where I can help, I own my own business so I can take whatever time off needed.
Brian
Hey Wyoming folks,
I was at the Appleseeds in Douglas and Newcastle this summer. Just wanted to express my interest in becoming an instructor. I tried contacting Colonial Shooter, but the e-mail he gave me didn't work. Risky Business was mentioning the possibility of IBC's in Wy., so if anything becomes a reality, please let me know.

Thanks,

I really want to get a permant appleseed planted here in casper. We are a major hub for this state so it is an ideal place to get started.
AK PM inbound, Casper is/ should be on the schedule soon.
I can see what I can do in the Big Piney, Pinedale area of Wyoming. Pinedale has two shooting ranges. One is private and will not let anybody shoot that is not a member. The other is half private, half public. Big piney has a range that is for the public. I believe the range is good to 300 or so yards. I will do some checking here and see what I can come up with.
I am good to travel anywhere in Wyo. I just need a map. As long as a no-notice tasking or deployment comes up. I am happy to be.
Casper would be a great place to shoot. IMHO
