Title: Pennsylvania has a new Rifleman "christened" in Georgia
Post by: Ramblin' Wreck on June 20, 2012, 11:12:58 AM
Last weekend we had an Appleseed here at our range in north Georgia and two Pennsylvania National Guardsmen from Glen Lyon and Shickshinny who were attending a technical school nearby came to the event. Jeff S and Chris D both made great progress. After having some problems with .22's (now chalked up to bad ammo) we loaned them a couple of AR's. Jeff ended up shooting a 210 and getting his Rifleman patch and the attendant 210 christening. Both these guys would serve well in colored hats if you can talk them into taking one.

One last thing, they're great guys and they're tough! They both spent Saturday in 95 degree heat with 90+ % humidity in long sleeved flannel shirts. They must have been acclimated by weather from their last deployment.
