A great shoot to start the Virginia season.
Weather reports early in the week calling for rain turned out to be incorrect.
The weekend was a couple of fine sunny spring days.
We had motivated shooters, almost all were first time Appleseeders, who seemed to enjoy the history that nobody hears anywhere else.
There were four under-18 shooters who did an outstanding job with safety, focus and progress.
The entire group progressed in leaps and bounds. Redcoat results roughly doubled from Saturday to Sunday.
We only had one rifleman - a new one - by the end, but many of the others were dancing around 210 and should make it next time.
