I'm not sure how to search it from scratch but NM Dept of Game & Fish has an opening for a statewide shooting program coordinator to increase the number of youth shooting programs and available ranges.  Working with nonprofit instructional programs (Heelloooooo, AS) is part of the job.  I hope some good AS instructor or at least an AS alum can get this job!

Great find!  This would be a great position for an Appleseder. O0
Here is a snip from the description on page 6 of the jobs list page.
I say start with the public schools. ;)

Purpose of Position
The State of New Mexico has an active shooting community due to approximately 100,000 hunters who live here and many times more firearms shooters. Some communities have active youth shooting programs, but many more do not. There is also a shortage of safe and environmentally responsible shooting ranges across the state. This position will work with existing shooting programs, develop additional youth shooting programs, and work with communities and agencies to develop additional safe and environmentally responsible shooting ranges in New Mexico. Duties include but are not limited to: Schedule and organize shooting events and training camps statewide. Events will be developed in cooperation with non-governmental organizations. Develop shooting ranges utilizing NGOs and interested municipal, county, state and/or federal agencies. This may be done through Memoranda of Understanding with other entities, grants, or contracts. Teach safe gun handling, and provide certification for coaches and/or hunter education. Provide External Communication and Outreach for the PIO Division by participating in Department sponsored events such as outdoor expos, fishing clinics and the State Fair.

Occupation Description
Plans and directs public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for employer or client; or if engaged in fund raising, plans and directs activities to solicit and maintain funds for special projects and nonprofit organizations.

Nature of Work
Public Relations Coordinators plan and direct public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for the employer or client. For example, they might write press releases or sponsor corporate events to help maintain and improve the image and identity of the company or client. They also help to clarify the organization's point of view to their main constituency. They observe social, economic, and political trends that might ultimately affect the firm, and they make recommendations to enhance the firm's image on the basis of those trends. They often specialize in a specific area, such as crisis management, or in a specific industry, such as health care.
