There was a 4-H shooting event held at the Langlade co shooting range.
They had some NRA, and CMP courses of fire they were going through, and wanted the RWVA to present some instruction, and speak about Appleseed a bit.
After watching the kids shoot for a while, we were given the floor.
I had about 25 listeners. I started out with a typical morning welcome, told them about appleseed, what our standards are with marksmenship, and then what we preach with heritage.
Then I went through steady hold factors of prone, seated, and off hand, then did six steps.
I finished off with a small benediction, and some info on signing up.
It all took about 20 minutes and was VERY well recieved.
I spoke with a board member from the range afterwords and got his info.
They would like to host an event for us. We could shoot at the pistol range (capacity 15) or he offered us the berm behind the trap range (cap est 30).
As you know we desperately need a range in the Wausau/ Stevens point area.
