I've been to two Ramseur AS now and I hear alot of talk about contacting our politicians. Tuesday when most of us were going to bed, HB 650 - The Gun Omnibus Bill was striped of a provision that allowed CCW holders to keep guns locked in their car while at work. This was done by both the Anti-gun Dems and the Republican leadership. (Paul Stam R-Wake and Nelson Dollar R-Wake).
As NC Gun Owners we have to do better, Get updates from Both the NRA and GRNC, forward them to your friends, and send MANY emails, Please...... You can be the best Rifleman in the world but it does no good if your 2nd Amendment rights are slowly being taken.
I'm new to AS and the Forum, and if you think I'm out of line, just let me know and I will move on.
"GRNC" is GrassrootsNC, a group every NC gunowner should be a member of.
Uncas, while we are charged on this forum with "staying on message, staying on Mission" [SOM-SOM], an occasional post like this keeps us reminded why we are doing this.
The best way to deal with this issue is to grow this program in NC until the politicians cannot "get away with it" any more.
