Title: Number of Events
Post by: coloradomike on February 03, 2011, 11:12:19 AM
Is it just me, or does it seem that Colorado is a little light on the events schedule this year? Not complaining, just wondering if there is more set up, just not on the event finder.  &)

I was just wondering the same thing.. However I attended one in Brighton last July and it was 104 degrees.. won't be doing that again. Might have to try the Leadville one in August, should be a good escape from the heat.

Is the light schedule just due to lack of ranges or volunteers to host?

Hmmm, there should be a State Coordinator in CO who'd be interested in this issue...

def90, there are 36 events scheduled in Colorado this year in Byers, Brighton, Ramah, Leadville, Fountain and Leadville.

You can find a listing here:  http://appleseedinfo.org/search-states.php?filter=CO&statename=Colorado

We are trying to get more shoots on Brighton's calendar.  Hope this helps.

If anybody knows of more ranges that will host AS, let the SC know.
The whole western slope is ripe for the picking, Durango, Montrose, Grand Junction.
