WHAT: Instructor Boot Camp in Minnesota
WHERE: Winona Sportsmen's Club - Winona, MN
WHEN: March 12-13, 2011
WHY: We're going to need all hands on deck April 16-17. This will be a great way for IITs to advance and for RHs to polish up on their AS skills for the 2011 Appleseeding season.
The clubhouse will be available for anyone wishing to bunk there. Just bring your sleeping bag/cot.

Well with out giving too much away:
Not only will this be unique in that it's Minnesota's first ever IBC, I'm plottin' to make it a completely unique IBC all-together!
"What does that mean?" You ask.
Well that means that no matter how many IBC's you've been to; you'll have never been to one like this!

Kevin; go ahead and plan it as early as you can on Friday. If anything it'll give Mike and I a chance to strategize.
I was just looking at the link on the schedule for this IBC...maybe add some information for those not familiar with the event.
Food??? Is there facilities for cooking at the host site? Is it a potluck like others? Some of this needs to be covered so the event can be more successful. Is there running water, bathrooms at the facility? How much room is there for sleeping arrangements? Some of us have not been to this site and will need some more info. I am planning on sleeping at the range site (correct) and will bring the famous sloppy Joes and buns. Who is coordinating the food stuff. (Do you see a trend in my post???

Details:
There is a small kitchen with sink, range, and refrigerator. Bar type coolers for beverages. I'll check with Kevin about having the gas grill locked, loaded, and functional.
Restrooms for both men and women.
There are two large rooms. One is more like a classroom with several folding tables. The other is adjacent to the kitchen area with tables, a TV, 2 sofas, and a fireplace. Sofas will be first come first served for sleeping, everybody else gets their very own private slice of floor. Bring a cot if you've got one. I have one if somebody needs one.
FOOD:
Potluck is GOOD! How about if everybody that has something they would like to bring, send me a PM. I'll try to get a rough plan for a menu and we can fill in blanks as needed. I'll update the first post with details as we go. Looks like we'll have about 12-15 people so far.

Discussing the IBC this past weekend with Aftermath at the Pine City gun show had me 99.99999% committed to signing up but then I came home to an email from my current and future sons-in-law who want to come up from IL for some late season ice fishing that weekend. So that's where I'll be but I'll be 7th stepping them the whole weekend. Have a great IBC everybody. Hope to see you soon.

Thanks OG! I am planning on making the 40 minute drive (which cannot be beat) to Winona for the IBC :) This is an excellent way for me to start my spring break, I think :cool2:
