Title: Valley Forge Shoots in Gunnison, co
Post by: al smith on October 20, 2010, 02:03:23 PM
Howdy Folks,

Nothing tests the commitment and gear like a colorado winter.  In the spirit of Valley Forge we are calling all patriots to test themselves and their gear at a "Winter Soldier"  event.

I am a former Ice Climber and I can personally attest to the fact that Food tasts better, and Warm feels warmer after enduring outdoor sports in sub zero temps.

Come on up.  Bring your friends.  Test your gear.  These events will define the limits of cold weather operation.

Are you up for it?  Is your gear? What happens to your Zero at Sub ZERO? Find out....

We are proposing these events as Winterseeds.  Maybe we should call them BURLYSEEDS.

Come share the fun at the Coldest Events in the Country.  Hear Dangerous Cold MEN stories(DCM).

Thanks for reading.  See you there!  Sign up early to reserve your space.  Do not underestimate the willingness of AS folks to suffer in support of History, Freedom, and marksmanship.

Your Shivering Pal,

al

Shooters and Instructors.

Looks like the weather will hold for saturday then get a little messy with snow late sat and into sunday.

Come on up and earn you winterseed badge the hard way. There is room on the line and we'll have a warm-up shelter with a fire going for instruction and history.

Thanks to everyone for making these things happen.  It will be a memorable shoot.  Come join the fun.

Instructors, please bring extra loaner rifles.

the zip is 81230 justin case you want t chaeck the weather forecast.
