Looking for volunteers to staff a table at the Las Vegas August Crossroads of the West Gun Show.
The show runs Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Amazingly, this would be Appleseed's first time at a Las Vegas Gun Show. This is a great venue and opportunity to promote Appleseed.
Here is your chance to step forward and help grow the program in Southern Nevada.
Whatever time you can contribute would be appreciated.

Actually, there are more shows than volunteers to staff them.
The next Crossroads show OCT 16th - 17th which conflicts with the Boulder City Appleseed that weekend.
Then the next Crossroads is Dec 11th - 12th the week before the Boulder City Dec 18-19 shoot.
The challenge in Las Vegas has been to find volunteers. 36 people read this post today and only one responded. (Thanks Chiilar)
There will be probably 10,000 people at this gun show over two days. Most of which have never heard of Appleseed. All of them are pre-qualified as they are walking through a gun show. All could use a refresher course on our Heritage.
Just need some folks to help bail.
Would like to help, the August I have a conflict with.
Looks like we will just keep our powder dry and work on the next show. The feedback has been that while interested, this is just a bad time with summer vacations and all. A Rifleman Persists. Everyone will get a chance to bail, as we will do at least one Las Vegas Gun Show this year. And more in 2011.
Unfortunately, all of our clan has prior commitments that weekend. We'll stay in touch.
