These are designed to be printed on yellow card stock,
printed on both sides. Each sheet will yield four postcards. The end
result is a Gadsden Flag on one side and the usual postcard/address
line/apply postage here stuff on the other, along with the quote from
Benjamin Franklin which says, "She never begins an attack, nor, when
once engaged, ever surrenders. She is therefore an emblem of
magnanimity and true courage...she never wounds 'til she has
generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against
the danger of treading on her."
Having shamelessly stolen it from Fred, I have been giving the "one
minute letter" talk at every meeting of our Tea Party (and to anyone
else who will listen). We provide these cards (with a $.28 postage
stamp) at our cost and we also have available the list of
congressional (mis)representatives for our area. I give an example or
two of how it's done and encourage people to buy a stack of cards, pre-
address them, and leave them next to their favorite TV chair with a
pen. When they see something on Beck or Hannity or the evening news
which makes steam come out of their ears, during the commercial break
write a one minute postcard and tell the dorks in congress what you
think. It's something to do until we can vote them out and replace
with a better quality of dork. I particularly like the Gadsden Flag
cards as it sends a message on both sides of the card, but even a
plain postcard is better than nothing. Feel free to spread the word; I
would like to see this "go viral". When the cards are delivered to
congress by the ton, we will win.
I found that Astrobright Solar Yellow cardstock from Office Depot looks great. $15 bought enough cardstock to make 1000. I am printing them on my standard home inkjet printer.
Casey
caseyblane, these are nice! Thank you.

Yes they are, but all thanks goes to 9mm4545. I'm just posting them up!
Oooh...yeah! I like these a LOT. I'm going to print a bunch and have a stack available in our store to hand out....great idea! (Right next to our Appleseed brochures, of course) ;)
Very nice. Printing some up now!
It might or might not help :wb:, but hey, it makes me feel a whole lot better to write one of these. And, when they get their butt booted out of congress by We The People, at least they will have the cards to remind them why they lost their job. I figure it can't hurt and might help. Might as well have some fun along the way...
