Title: West Virginia has a new range/location.
Post by: siglite on May 20, 2010, 11:32:42 PM
Vanrichten and I went to the BoD meeting for Putnam County Gun Club.  We now have a rimfire-only event scheduled for 8/28 and 8/29.

There will be no camping, but lodging is available in Teays Valley (6 or 7mi from the gun club).

Shooters may bring centerfires, but they may not be shot on the range that will be dedicated to our shoot.  We may, if we choose, informally move to the rifle range (which may be expanded to 500yds by this date) and shoot centerfires.  However, we will not have exclusive use of the 500 yard range, and may have to work around club members who are using it.

Now on the PCGC main page:

QuoteMac McMillian, PCGC (304)549-4310

On August 28-29 we will be having Appleseed Training and qualification on the Pistol Range, all day both days.

If you ever wished you could improve your rifle marksmanship, this is the program for you.  After two full days

of marksmanship training you will notice a marked improvement in your scores, especially at the longer distances.

See Mac or any officer for more info.

Hey guys:
I was thinking about taking in an event in WV this Summer. Can you get Oliverio's peppers in the Stinson area?
It would make the 14 hour drive worth while.

Willorith

Let's find out exactly what kind of red carpet we have to roll out to get Willorith up here for this shoot.

I'm thinking a large list of pre-regs would be enticement for all sorts of instructor types...

I have the signed host application in my grubby paw as I type this.  I'm trying to coerce bbkf into scanning it for me so I can forward it up the chain.

Received and working on the schedule now. Thanks again siglite for all the work you've done on this new location.  O0
All we need to be working on now is some promo work to fill the firing line.

Do my eyes deceive me, or did I see Fuzzy signed up for our June 26 Stinson shoot?  :D  I know WV has enough shooters to keep Stinson and PCGC full, if we can find the right bait to catch them.  ;)
