What an event! Not only did we have great weather, great shooters and a fun weekend but General George Washington himself came to visit both of our VA Appleseeds this weekend. He stopped by the Buckingham shoot for about 90 minutes on Saturday and then visited the VA Beach shoot on Sunday.
General Washington arrived in his full Commander in Chief Uniform and gave a 50 minute presentation on life and the political situation that was alive in our country in the spring of 1775 and the years to follow, all from his perspective and experiences. His presentation was absolutely incredible. He followed that up with a full 40 minutes of questions and answers, his knowledge and historical accuracy was phenomenal!
I'm anxious to hear from JMDavis as to how it went in VA Beach this afternoon.
