When i went to the NRA Annual mtg i met the Senior VP of ATI Stocks and gave him an info packet on appleseed. We also talked about an adjustable stock for a 10/22 LTR, as they had an adjustable stock for a shotgun. This stock looks like a conventional stock (no pistol grip) and it adjusts for different lengths.
I asked if they planned to make one for a 10/22 or not and he said they had no plans just yet, i told him he would have a ready market for one, as i explained what a LTR was and who uses them and the need for adjustments.
So would there be a call for these stocks for both Remingtons and 10/22s ? I plan on contacting him with a request to make this stock for .22s i need to know for which. Thanks AzRon
ATI already makes a folding, telescoping stock for the 10/22. It also has an adjustable/removable cheek rest. Its $120 on cheaper than dirt. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/RGR013-1.html
The one i am talking about is a non pistol grip type and does not fold, more like a classic style stock.
I would also say that a nice, adjustable stock for the Marlin 795 would be well received. Been seeing more and more of them at every Appleseed. It would only need an adjustable comb and LOP.
yeah, a stock like you're talking about would be pretty cool. I'd buy them for my LTRs if the price were right.
That's whats nice about the stock i'm going to ask them to make is LOP is adjustable don't know about the comb tho, i guess i could ask see if it is doable.
