This was another great event in Carrollton. Shoot boss was dond. Slim and myself were performing IIT duties. There were 2 Sat. only shooters. There were 2 Sun. only shooters and 4 two day shooters. There were 2 father/son pairs and 1 mother/son/daughter team. It was a real family event. This shoot also included an appearance by someone who dropped by and funfalered the shooters Sunday afternoon. :) Despite a somewhat wet and overcast weekend everyone was in good spirits and shooting well. The only thing lacking at this event was attendance.
Two new Riflemen were made. Congratulations Matthew and Robby.
This shoot ran really well as dond's shoots always do. The shooters who didn't earn their patch all improved their skills, some dramatically. Some shooters improved their scores by 100 points or more. Good work folks. It's always a pleasure to work with good instructors and fellow Americans. I Hope to see you all again soon.
The instructors were top notch, very professional and knowledgeable. I have been shooting 35 years and though I knew it all, man was I wrong. Thanks guys and god bless.
