Title: transporting several rifles
Post by: Redchrome on July 08, 2009, 10:49:55 PM
Not a problem I have yet; but I know several people have multiple LTRs for to loan as trainers.

How do you transport them to the range?
One big case with several in it, or just put them in soft cases and throw them in the back seat?

Do you package (not necessarily in the same container) each rifle with a measured quantity of ammunition and other gear (stapler, glasses, earplugs & earmuffs), or have that all in separate containers and try to carry much more than you think you'll need, and count it out ahead of time?

Any innovative solutions for transport?

I've seen some remarkable contraptions put together by cowboy shooters and highpower shooters... what sort of domain-specific innovations will appleseed shooters devise?

Redchrome AZGromit uses a golf club hard case it has wheels and a handle, put the rifles in soft cases then into the hard case. AzRon
