Another warm reception at Henry County Gun Club! Did I mention warm? Heat index of 105 on Saturday, but a little cooler on Sunday. Thanks to Larry T. for bringing the fan!
13 shooters on Saturday with 10 returning on Sunday. 3 new Riflemen.
Mark shot 210 with a 10-22 and then proceded to do the same with an AR15. We were drinking any available water, so, he was spared a dousing!
Carlie shot 221 and took his patch with bandages on both elbows.
Larry T. finished the day on Sunday with a 217.
All the other shooters are just a couple of hours of dry firing away. There were big inprovements made across the board.
Several great friendships were forged. Thanks to all the shooters for jumping in and helping out with anything that needed to be done.
Big Papa,
Sounds like a hot one!! Great job on turning out 3 new riflemen! ;D
Maybe the range would consider putting in a swimming hole.....that way you could dunk those with the score of 210! ;) Of course with temps in the 90's and heat indexes at 100+, I think everyone would just jump in!
I am still recovering from all the wind, dust and dirt that we got out in CA at the RBC.
Take care, DW
I'll agree with Big Papa's statement: All the other shooters are just a couple of hours of dry firing away. It was good to be there.
And thanks to Big Papa for loaning us some equipment. That made it possible for us to learn enough so we will be able to reach 210 after some dry firing. Otherwise ... back to the kitchen?
