12 shooters, Instructors were Truculent Turtle (Bill), Mogget (Jill) and SoM.
Right off the bat we saw we had something special. Got (I think) three folks with rifleman scores on Sunday. Had two guys who had no prior Appleseed experience but they had that crucial ingredient, a teachable attitude. ALL of them were shooting rifleman scores by the end of the boot camp...
Were able to spend Sunday and Monday on fundamentals, Tuesday was the AQT grind, Wednesday was full distance with centerfires. Before bringing ammo and mags up we did a target detection exercise (that's the most difficult task, right?) and crack/thump. Went into full distance zeroing and an AQT.
Thursday was more full distance with some POPUPS in the evening, courtesy of Wildman. Friday was Appleseed practice for the IITs. Had a class supper at the Corrall Fri. evening with Fred, first time I've ever been thrown out...
Sorry I had to leave Sat AM....ya'll chime in and let me know how things went...
GREAT bunch of Americans, and an honor to spend the week with ya'll.

Sorry I missed it.
Hey, what about the shirt? We want to hear about the shirt. Are the rumors true? :)
A question for the Record: has there ever been a BC where EVERYONE made rifleman? Well it is the record books now--Great Job Son of Martha!!!
Shirt is good stuff. Took off 5 years and 10 pounds and doubled my bank balance...
Ya'll new IITs, when you get registered don't forget to PM Mogget (Jill), Truculent Turtle (Bill) and me so we know who ya are online. Will also need that info to have your account enabled for Instructor board access.

At Osage Beach last October I believe everyone made Rifleman except for a youngster who was only there for a day or two.
In any case, well done Ramseur!
