I hope you are all having a good one!
How I celebrated: In my precalculus class I had the students write a parametric equation to model the trajectory of a bullet fired at different angles given the muzzle velocity and height of the barrel.
Basically, it was a KD talk with a graphing calculator.
Huzzah, kids!
Happy 10/22 day back at ya!
Your class sounds fun. Not sure I'd like to be graded on my final answer though
Celebrated by ordering an assortment of 10/22 spares on sale at Ruger and adding one of my register your gun for 20% off codes. We'll see what happens.

Sounds just like a physics 1 problem! One of my favorite classes.
Very nice. Must be a good school. You'd have been fired in some states for doing that.
I wish my math classes in college would have had concrete examples of some of the stuff we had to learn. We were always told "learn it because it's on the test next week." Which made it boring.
It wasn't until I got out of college working at my first job where some of the stuff I learned was actually put into use. It was a machine shop and we had to layout a 2D blueprint into a 3D and some dimensions were not included. And stretch/bend radius of metals. Trig was invaluable then. And we didn't have AutoCad or anything like that.
I like to know why things are useful. Not just because it's on the test next week.
I celebrated 10/22 day by meeting up with a friend I introduced to Appleseed who is on his rifleman's journey and an Appleseed instructor at a local range to shoot some informal AQTs with our 10/22s. The range has an Air Gun/.22 Day every Thursday on a 200-yard range, and they allow shooting from positions, so it's been a great find for practicing Appleseed-style shooting. This week Air Gun/22 Day lined up with 10/22 Day, so that was fun. It was a nice day!
