Title: Winterseeds in New Mexico?
Post by: ToLiveDeliberately on October 09, 2026, 03:23:51 PM
Howdy friends, I might be passing through New Mexico on my way to Houston for work this February and didn't notice anything on the schedule yet.

Do you folks usually host shoots over the winter? I once made the mistake of spending a few days in Albuquerque one December and had no idea how cold it would be, but I know you live in a large state and I'd like to believe there are some places there that are warm enough year round.

Anything coming down the pipe I might want to keep an eye out for?

Hey Valery! I'll be scheduling a 25m for either Alamogordo or El Paso in February. Probably 2/6-7. It SHOULD be considerably milder down south than it is in Albuquerque at that time.

The Albuquerque cadre often schedules an event on the President's Day weekend.  It's likely that temperatures will be below freezing for a couple of hours in the morning.
