It was another wonderful shoot at the Ares Training Facility! It is a beautiful range, and they really take care of us. We love shooting with them! 17 brave souls attempted something that few Americans dare. They attempted to learn more about their country, and challenge themselves for the coveted rifleman patch!
Paul, Les, and Luke were not able to make it on Sunday, but they were sorely missed. We hope you caught a big one Luke! The Halstead herd once again graced us with their presence, and I mean that in the best possible way! We absolutely adore this group of folks, and nobody wants them to succeed more than us. Emily is knock, knock, knocking on the door! JP! You are killin us! MAN! You will break through, stay with it, just ask Gavin. The first one is the hardest to get. After that, they come much easier. Jaxson! You almost doubled your score! Keep staring at those crosshairs! Emmabelle! Keep JPs leg straight, and keep at it girl! from a 129 to a 170? Good job!!!! Daniel!!! We gotta get you a shorter left handed rifle. That is gonna make all the difference with you. David Jr. loved coaching you, and we are all wanting to be there when you crack into a 210! Jenny! The youngest, smallest, but yet the biggest heart and best smile. A little ray of sunshine. Can't wait to see you soon. Eddie and Ellie! So glad you came out and gave us a try. It's a new shooting style from what you are used to, and I really hope you come back. Iron sites are tough! Keep at it, and I hope we see you again soon. Christopher DOUBLED his score and qualified with iron sites! HUZZAH!!! So glad you came out to play with us. David let's talk soon about that Liberty seed for your church! Happy you were able to attend with Christopher. Then there are the Fretwells. Well, well, well.....Matt scored Rifleman first, but Nicole was right behind him! A family that shoots together, stays together! EVERETT!!!!! a 205? Come on!! BUT he had a BOLT ACTION....WHAT?! A 205 with a bolt? 1 more shot..... All together a wonderful shoot, and we cant wait to do it again. Until next time....
