It was dreary & wet morning in Fairfax VA, but that didn't deter (12) students from attending the Pistolseed at the NRA Range. A big thank you to the NRA Staff for hosting Project Appleseed! And a HUGE thank you to the students and volunteer instructors, this event couldn't happen without you!!!
1-day events run pretty fast, but we incorporated numerous breaks to keep the students fresh. The students all showed improvements in marksmanship from looking at the scores of the Hits Count target at he end of the day; including (1) Shooter earning the Virginia Patch for clearing the Hits Count target HUZZAH!
On the (1) PQT the students shot, we had numerous shooter score 180-200 range and (1) shooter earning a Pistoleer patch by scoring a 212 HUZZAH!
I hope the students enjoyed the event and we look forward to seeing them on the Appleseed Trail at a 2-day event HUZZAH!
Sounds like a great event! A special Congrats to the shooter who earned the Pistoleer patch and the shooter who cleared the Hits Count target -- and of course those who came oh so close to earning that Pistoleer patch -- You will get it next time!!!
