Saturday morning, we started with 13 Patriots eager and ready to learn about marksmanship and American heritage.
Throughout the day, we dodged some contentious weather while working our way through marksmanship training and history. Skald and Maddog1776 presented the history of April 19, 1775.
By the end of the day, we had seen significant improvement in marksmanship, and spirits were high as everyone looked forward to the next day.
Sunday morning, we had nine Patriots ready to face the day. After review, we shot several AQTs, ran drills, and had a fun shoot. Congratulations to the team of Todd the elder, Todd the younger, and Tommy! Several of the instructors provided chili and peanut butter sandwiches for a delicious lunch.
By the end of the day, we saw significant improvement in marksmanship across the Line.
Tyler re-qualified as Rifleman multiple times, posting a high score of 229. Huzzah!
Both Tyler and Paloma cleared the Hits Count Target multiple times. Huzzah!
Thank you all for coming out and joining us. We hope to see you back on the line again soon.
For those of you still chasing your Rifleman patch, remember: Rifleman persists, just as our ancestors did during the Revolutionary War.
Huzzah!
Morning instruction, and Bob the spider reviewing the course of fire.. he had a few suggestions. ;D
Congratulations to Tyler and Paloma for clearing the hits count!
It was a great weekend. We had several youths who came with family! The New Carlisle Sportsman Club is a great facility fully behind the cause of Liberty!
Great work by all instructors and Shoot Boss!
