We had a terrific weekend with a lot of shooters, young and "less" young. It was terrific to see some familiar faces as well as new ones. We had a repeat "offender" awarded yet another patch for both clearing a Red Coat Target and scoring Rifleman. We also had 3 new Riflemen! One of which was a 17 yof who scored Rifleman on 3 AQT's. Hoozah!! BTW, her Dad scored Rifleman too. It was awesome.
We had a couple of young shooters there with their Dad (didn't shoot) who defeated the NPO Oreo! It was so much fun to see their faces when they hit their respective cookies during the Virginia version of carding the sights.
As always with these events, I want to thank each and every one of our shooters for their mindfulness of safety and willingness to follow instruction. We saw improvement across the board. I am eager to see folks at future events where I am sure we will see additional Rifleman scores.
