We had another great weekend at the LeRoy Rifle Pistol Club! * 8 first time Appleseeders and a few returning joined us for a weekend of liberty and marksmanship.
Saturday was hot.... and we felt it by 8:30am. But good hydration and shade beat the heat and humidity. Sunday was much cooler and a welcome breeze made for a great second day.
In addition to the standard course of fire, we had some great discussion on our history, and how the events leading up to April 19th formed the grievances in the Declaration of Independence and the protections of the Bill of Rights. One great question was "where did all those red coats stay in Boston?" which was a great segue to the 3rd Amendment.
We saw some great progression of marksmanship skills with AQT scores climbing through the weekend. Congrats to Morgan for a 223 requalification, and to Doug for clearing the Hits Count and a 212 requal. A big thanks to OutAAmmo for being a great 7th stepper and filling the line. Pretty sure he was connected to almost everyone on the line!
