This past weekend at the home range in Ramseur,I had the pleasure of presenting Russ, aka R-Mack with his 50 Event Pin.
Congratulations Russ on this achievement, and thanks for what you do for Appleseed.

Congrats Russ! Wish I could've been there. You've been instrumental in my growth as an instructor. Can't wait to work together again.
Congratulations!
Congratulations, Russ! We're lucky to have you.
Congrats and thanks for your dedication to the program O0
Congratulations. Thanks for all you do for the program. HUZZAH
Thank you everyone. I remember the first event like it was yesterday and enjoy every event I've worked.
Russ
Duh. Lightbulb. This is for Appleseed people who have worked 50 events. Not someone who has attended 50. Guess that would be a lot. Does anyone know how many clinics the most attended participant has been to? Quite a few I know, just wonder how many. And are there any pins/patches for that side of the firing line?

Yes, the rewards for being an instructor are mostly mental. Learn new stuff and skills, meet great people, help save the country, make a difference in people's lives. For stuff, we have that neat Isaac Davis patch and a lot of rockers and tabs for various things, and you get as many hats as you can wear out. The shoots done pins are relatively recent and are a nice addition for the cadre.
For shooters going to a lot of clinics, there's the distinguished and 250 patches for high score, winterseed patch for score in the cold and the different colors of Rifleman patches themselves. We do highlight Patriots' Day shoots with special patches, I think we have one more in the series planned, but the best indicator of a shooter going to a lot of clinics is the brightly colored hats they earn by becoming instructors.
Congratulations, Russ. Thanks for all you do.
