September 2026 is Mantis' #TRAINtheWORLD (https://traintheworld.org/) event. The purpose is to build awareness and energy, and grow the community of well-trained firearms shooters. The goal is 10,000,000 shots in September. Mantis and other sponsors will be contributing a penny for every dry and live fire training shot taken, resulting in $100,000 becoming available as grants.
Project Appleseed has been selected as a grant recipient
Individuals can contribute their dry fire and live fire shots taken all month long by registering at #TRAINtheWORLD (https://traintheworld.org/) and use their existing Mantis products to automatically log their shots. Participants can also manually enter their shots from their dry or live fire session on traintheworld.org.
Join this event to build your healthy training habits, contribute to stronger firearms responsibility, and support Mantis' goal of hitting 10M shots. You can and make a real impact to Mantis' grant recipients, which include Project Appleseed. Encourage everyone to join with us!

On a side note, if you have a Mantis product, in the app there is a "Groups" button. You can join the "Appleseed" group and track your progress alongside other Appleseeders. There is even a chat function. It is a small group for now, but hopefully it will grow.

Pretty cool. Also, any practice you do with the Mantis equipment is logged automatically for Traintheworld. Only live fire and dry fire outside of the Mantis system needs to be logged manually.

Not sure yet, they will likely email instruction on logging. We can have the shoot bosses do it as well for the September events. More details to follow.
