The weekend was fantastic! We started with the weather liars telling us it would be hot and muggy. They changed their minds and decided it would be hot and rainy. As usual, we got it all. The rain did hold off on Sunday until we were almost done.
A big shout out to John and Sheepdog Firearms Supplies for hosting this event. They never disappoint.
We had 7 shooters on the line. Four of the seven were a family that had never attended an Appleseed event and were very new to shooting. They loved it! We certainly look forward to seeing them on the line in the future.
All but one of our participants were new to Appleseed. This slowed us down, but we did hammer out an AQT on Sunday. We did award William Diamond patches to our 2 youth, ages 10 and 12. We also awarded a 10-event pin to Echo Charlie.
