It was an amazing weekend in Menomonie, WI at the Menomonie Public Shooting Range which is ran by the Menomonie Rifle & Pistol Club. There was some challenges with weather in which Saturday was hot & sunny and then Sunday it was downpouring and causing some problems with the target line, but turned into a nice day.
We had a good group of participants (13 participants) who were having fun even with the delays and the problems on the target line. They all were receptive to learning and were really trying to change old habits to improve themselves on the firing line. Cody re-qualified for distinguished (241) and his wife Megan became a new rifleman (214). We also had 3 other new rifleman: James (232), Mike (224), and Alisa (210). Cody, Kevin, and James all cleared the red coats. Much improvement with all participants and those that did not qualify are close to it and are excited to come back and keep trying. We had one youth (Seraphona) who learned a lot and had a good time and improved in skills.
