We had good weather a little hot on Sunday but good. We had 10 students and 7 instructor and two Blue hats. We started the day with some great history (thanks Bulldog) than got right into the red coat followed by some needed instruction. I gave a reward for the smallest group on the first square 2.5 MOA. Going to be a great day as 5 students were under 4 MOA, not counting the instructors/applecore. Lunch with some more great history (thanks Recon). Than more positions and some AQT's. Produced 3 riflemen 2 repeat offenders and one new. We also had a new orange hat (hideanywhere) step up. He had the highest score of the event (246). He said that one of the young IIT's help him improve from 223 to the 246. Just go to show you if you listen to the instructors you will do better.
Sunday was a lot hotter but the energy level was high. Started in the classroom with some history. Cowtipper can tell a great third strike. Than we when to the KD range to do a little target detection real time. Three targets (kids) walked from different locations and all joined at the 300 yard line. The day finished with everyone having improved and they all said they learned a lot of history on the day.
Thanks to all the instructors for a great weekend.
