Six patriots turned out in Stockton, Illinois to learn about our great heritage and to improve their rifle marksmanship skills. Everyone showed measurable improvement in their skills with three of the four shooters hitting Morgan's shingle Sunday morning and three of the four shooters making all three shots on the 400 yard target at the end of the day.
Our shoot boss and instructor in training both re-qualified Sunday morning before the students arrived. Later in the day JJ came close to re-qualifying with a score of 207, and Jeremy earned his rifleman patch with scores of 213 and 222. Congratulations to everyone for doing such a great job.
After our KD presentation on Sunday several people rang some steel at 200 yards with my M1A scout rifle. Then Matthew brought out his Swiss 7.5x55 K31 and we rang some more steel.
