The 1911 Syndicate YouTube channel did a video on the evolution of the Browning-designed Colt semiautomatic pistols from 1900 to the 1911, including live fire of almost all of the guns along the way. Contains some language that might not be good for younger kids - nothing hard R, mind you, but words that you might not want your four-year-old picking up. I'd seen this sort of information on C&Rsenal before, but not with live fire.

This is also the first I heard of the Browning museum in Ogden. I admit, I have fantasies of arranging an Appleseed pilgrimage, a caravan to the museum, but I think maybe I'll focus on earning my red hat before I get distracted by a project like that.
