A friend of mine who has suffered 2 strokes but still wants to get out there wanted a flintlock rifle so I built him one. This one weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces and is very straight of stock to mitigate recoil. We are shooting it tomorrow for the first time.
Hand carved stock, patch box and hand made patch box in the 18th century manner.
That thing is beautiful. Wow.
that looks great, very nice work
That's a great project. Hope you share more about it with us.
That is super nice work.
You ever do custom work by request? As in paid?
The custom work I've done is along the lines of a buddy saying he'd like to have a ( fill in the blank ) rifle and he patiently waits a year or 2. This is the first rifle I've built in several years due to work obligations but I'm done with that!
Beautiful wood!

Outstanding!
Function meets art. What a gorgeous rifle. The figuring in that stock is crazy. Outstanding work Flintlock54!
