Bill, it's hard to come up with words to express how important and influential you've been to all of us here in Michigan. For me personally, you've been a trusted mentor who shaped my entire experience with Project Appleseed over the course of a decade. I'm not sure how things would have turned out for me without your friendship and guidance along the way. Thank you so much for your years of service, all of the IBC's, the DAT, everything. Rest assured your standards of quality are far-reaching and will live on in perpetuity. Every volunteer that's stepped up to support Appleseed with me in Michigan and New York State has in some way been shaped or influenced by your leadership, and that's a remarkable achievement you deserve to be proud of. I am looking forward to my next cigar with you in August. Huzzah for a career well done, my friend.
ITB, there are no words to describe the impact you've had on my life, personally. I want to copy a lot of what T.Wolf expressed above, but I won't. Thank you for your time and energy and love you poured into the organization and into your fellow Cadre, not just in Michigan (although we were spoiled the most). And personally, thank you for being such a great mentor and friend. I have told the stories of our road trips so many times! LOL You and Pookie are the best road trip buddies ;D

ITB, thank you. You've done a lot of good work and you were a help to me as I worked my way through the program. I'm sorry to see you go but that's the way life is sometimes. Perhaps we'll cross paths later on down the trail. Godspeed.

Burbs, it's hard to find the correct words to express my thanks for what you have done for me, let alone the entire Project Appleseed program. You were the Shoot Boss at my first event when you were down in the dirt trying to help me break my bucking and flinching issues with "ball and dummy". I'm not sure either of us could imagine that 15 years layer I would find myself in that position with a Green hat on, helping another shooter with their marksmanship. I am glad it was you that was the Shoot Boss at my SBIT3 and handed me that Hat. I hope I will always do a job worthy of you. Thank you for your leadership, your mentorship and most of all your friendship. May God continue to bless your endeavors.

ITB, I am just beginning to understand how much we'll all miss you. You had a tremendous influence on everything around me. The events, the IBC, the green and red hats I interact with, and the Academy resources all reflect your hard work, determination, and creativity. I literally cannot imagine this program without you. Thanks for all of that, and may your vine and fig tree be pleasant.
Sad to think We wont be having any more cigars together at events. Thanks for everything you did for the program! take care.

It is a blessing to know you and I will miss being at your events. You were instrumental in teaching me how to instruct, Shoot Boss, throw an appropriate Shoot Boss snit, and avoid the speed traps. Appleseed has lost a great shoot boss and ambassador to the program. I have lost one of my mentors but haven't lost a friend. I'll invite you to all my Appleseed events and hope you can make a guest appearance. I'll see you in August at the pool party!

Your mentorship has been one of the most valuable influences in my growth in the Appleseed program, as well as in my personal life.
