"Revolutionary America" - A new documentary movie is out in my area of Michigan. It is only running from May 31st through June 2. It was produced by Hillsdale College and voiced by Tom Selleck. The first half of the movie is like being at an Appleseed event. A little over half of the movie covers the events that lead up to farmers taking up arms against the most powerful army in the world and the events of April 19. The second half covers the remaining eight years of war and the first and second constitutional conventions. It ends with words from Benjamin Rush writing in 1811 how he feels Americans have forgotten the sacrifices made to preserve their freedom. The story is very familiar to an Appleseeder and it was enjoyable.
If you have the chance to see it on a big screen, it was worth the ticket price.
