That one says it is 30.48 centimeters long. Unless the converter is fibbing that's one foot long.
Hmm. Good thing they're returnable ;D

Your converter is correct. I just placed an order for one, scheduled for delivery Saturday. Update to follow.
I purchased one April 27th. It works great...no issues. The hardware is slightly different, but it holds under the pressure of hasty and loop without slipping. I'm planning on a few more for loaner slings and future rifle purchases.
I've ordered over a dozen of these - black, OD green, and tan. They all work great. Some of the keepers work better than others. All seem to be standard length, certainly over a foot.
I haven't wanted to post anything to compete with our store, but they're regularly $11 or $13 from the CMP. I ordered a dozen last time for me and other local instructors.

AMZN just delivered the khaki sling and it is indeed the standard length and not the super-snug 12 inch version.
Got the black today.
The cotton webbing is lighter weight, and the hardware is painted, not parkerized. I suspect it won't have the longevity of ours, but is otherwise functional.
