What a crazy weekend at River Falls Sportsman's Club in River Falls, WI. Saturday was cold (upper 40s) with wind and ending the day with rain. Sunday started out wet, but cleared up prior to starting so it was cloudy initially & then sunny with gusting winds and temp in low 70s.
We had 2 youth who have done this before (Lilabeth & Bentley), 4 first timers (Joel, Cassandra, Jacob and Derik) & 3 repeat participants (Cody, Scott and Michael). Scott made distinguished with a 240 for the 1st time, Cody repeated his distinguished with a 244 and Michael got his 1st rifleman with a 216. Everyone made huge progress and had lots of fun. Look forward to seeing them all on the line again and continue to watch them progress.
Many thanks to Blisterpak (Josh) & Curmudgeon Mindset (Phil) for their help this weekend. Congratulations to Blisterpak for working hard and not only completing his IIT4, but also his Red Hat this weekend; he did an amazing job with the stories and instructing the participants.
Many thanks to the River Falls Sportsman's Club for their support of the program over the years.
