Title: Help Needed!
Post by: ArmyVet on March 16, 2026, 03:41:53 PM
Greetings!

Requesting help for the Orlando KY Appleseed. It would be GREAT if an SBIT is coordinated for this, but that would need to happen rather quickly since we are about 5 weeks out. This is a Patriots Day Event so if someone is in search of a blue rocker this event qualifies (provided you work on the 19th!).

IITs needing to turn in a PC or check off history are welcome!

Thanks!

Hey, Army Vet, looking forward to the shoot. Virch and I plan to be there. We're not familiar with the range, so a few questions...
Is the line covered, or should we bring a canopy for wet condition?
What surface is prone: concrete/asphalt; gravel; mud?
Any observations  or tips?
Any suggestions for breakfast in the area?
See you there.

Firing line is uncovered and dirt. Suggest shooting mats / tarps. If you have canopies please bring them.

Fast food options in Mt Vernon about 15 minutes out from the range.

I understand we have access to a carport/shelter for history and escaping foul weather.  I will have some canopies with me.
