Mountain House is having one heck of a sale - cheaper than I've ever saw their stuff. And it's good stuff.
Breakfast Skillet - $34 a #10 can - lots of calories and protein

Granola w/milk and blueberries - $38 a #10 can

I've got a bit already but this is priced low enough might get a few more.
Not bad! But if you're not feeding a crowd, how do you keep partially-used #10 cans from going bad quickly?
You could always store the excess in ziploc 7 mil mylar bags. I've used the quart ziploc bags from PackFreshUSA (& their oxygen absorbers) for years.
If you were REALLY efficient (Huzzah!), you could break down the #10 cans into 7 mil mylar pouches (& oxy absorbers....I like the 300cc per qt bag). Of course, you'd need to heat seal the mylar pouches after filling.
A few months ago I just noticed. Back to regular price now.
Augoson Farms was having a sale. Most of the item on Amazon were the same price as the website.
MAHA
See link below.
This is the absolute best deal you can get if you're into preparing for an uncertain future. I don't know how they can do it at these prices. And shipping - dang almost nothing. I'd ordered about 300 lbs and shipping was like 20 dollars? How can they do that? They must be eating shipping costs.
And packaged to last 20 years or more.
Anyhow rice, beans, sliced apples, oats, etc and as cheap as the local grocery store. Maybe cheaper actually. While you can DIY that's a PITA and not as good as canned.

If you do want to order something after checking prices create an account first. Then select things and order.
The website can get clunky at times - at least using firefox. Worth a look if you're 'paranoid' like me. And BTW - all of my conspiracy theories over the last 30 years are all now true. Every single one. I'm no longer considered 'nutz'. Well not too much at least. The only thing I didn't anticipate was the level of insanity. Welcome to clown world.
Scuzzy, we've never met. I don't think you are crazy. Probably a carrier, but not crazy. ;D
Thanks for the link to inexpensive long term storage food. O0
