What an outstanding weekend for our 25m Rifle Appleseed at Pioneer Sportsman's Club in Dunbarton, NH! Kicking things off, I want to thank every shooter for choosing to join us—your commitment made all the difference. The crisp fall weather was gorgeous, with a chill in the air that tested resolve and whispered of the WinterSeed vibes shifting our way soon, but it set the perfect stage for steady holds, sharp shots, and revolutionary heritage stories.
We had 18 dedicated shooters—a great mix of 10 first-time Appleseeders and 8 returning vets—plus a solid crew of instructors from Massachusetts, New York, and New Hampshire, and even Vermont. From the start, the line buzzed with energy as groups tightened, folks bonded with their gear, and skills leveled up fast. Newbies uncovered their potential and next steps with focused practice, while vets crushed personal bests. Scores climbed steadily through the weekend—even as fatigue hit—proving the magic of persistence. We celebrated several Rifleman patches earned; congrats to those who crossed the line—wear 'em proud! For everyone else, you're that much closer.
Shoutout to our instructors for their top-notch instruction and to Pioneer Sportsman's Club for the fantastic hosting (zero fees—huge win!). A quick note: Someone left a camp chair behind; if it's yours, hit up MattNH to arrange pickup.
Huge thanks to all for making this a resounding success—Appleseed thrives because of you. Keep the fire lit! Questions? Email me or Matt anytime, and dive into the Appleseed forum—it's packed with knowledge, tips, and fun.
Appleseed is friend to all, enemy to none. Let's keep building Riflemen!
