What an amazing weekend spreading the message of Liberty to 12 young patriots. We began the weekend acknowledging Upacreek's amazing contribution to the program as she marked 100 events in the program!
Our National Coordinator, Cleveland drove down to Tennessee to award Upacreek her 100 pin! Congratulations and well-earned! ^:)^

After introductions, we began with the First Strike of the Match. Then we went through Safety and finally the Hits Count Target.

We found out there was some work to do, so we got down to it with the Standard Course of Fire. Eye Dominance --> Sling Use --> 6 Steps --> NPOA --> prone position --> trigger exercise --> and finally going live again! :---
Many shooters discovered their groups had already shrunk from this morning. We broke for lunch and the second Strike of the match. We also ate cupcakes to celebrate Upacreek's 100th! :partytime:
Then we got back to shooting. We interspersed it with more learning modules on Talking Targets, IMC, Rifleman's Cadence, Magazine Changes, and then broke again for the Third Strike of the match.
We shot some more squares, and another Hits Count showed MAJOR improvement when compared to the morning numbers. Well done boys! We finished with the story of Timothy Murphy and how one person can make a difference.
Sunday was a bit chilly, but we huddled together and heard about the tribulations of 1776. After that, we reviewed everything from the day before. We also added to our knowledge bank with all 4 Seated positions and the Standing Position.

We finally moved to the line and shot a Hits Count, followed by a couple of squares. We learned about Rifleman's Bubble and Rifleman's Dance. Then we shot another square before taking lunch.
At lunch, we heard several stories about Dangerous Old Men and Brave Women. We then got back to it with several more squares. We then took a break to learn about Known Distance Shooting. After taking that in, we put it to work and moved the targets out to 100 yards.

Shooters studied their targets and measured how far their bullets dropped. We then adjusted for the drop, got everyone on target, and had some fun shooting at 100 yards. :snipersmi
Lastly, we moved back to 25m and re-zeroed before shooting a last Hits Count Target.

We ended the day by hearing about the story of Ephraim Brank and the Battle of New Orleans, and again talked about how one person can make a difference and about 7th Stepping to spread the message. O0

Roswell
What a beautiful range! Huge thanks to the NRA for the youth ammo. 12 boys appreciated sending the donations down range all weekend.
