Title: Charlottesville VA, September 27-28 Rifle Clinic AAR
Post by: BrotherPilot on October 01, 2025, 12:10:48 PM
What a great weekend!
Saturday was a bit damp, but only a bit.  My hat is off to the 17 souls who joined us this weekend to learn of marksmanship and of history.

A big thank you to the dads who brough daughters and sons!   Really appreciate you trusting us with your family.  I believe that they all had a good time and all of them did well.  I look forward to seeing each of the youth back for another shoot and -really- look forward to awarding them Rifleman patches.

Congrats to our 2 new riflemen!  And a big HUZZAH! to those who cleared the red coat and earned the Virginia state patch.

The biggest HUZZAH! I reserve for our newest Red Hat. Moar_En_Blocs passed his instructor progress check and very well earned his red hat.  Well done sir!

Thanks for the well wishes BrotherPilot - it's been a long journey since that cold and rainy weekend in February where I was first introduced to you all, but it's been nothing but a good time since  :cool2:
Here's to many more, proud to be a member of the Virginia cadre of instructors o7

Just because he is very good with the students one on one, talking to groups of people and telling the history, don't tell him that!

It will give him a swelled head!!!   >:D  **)  >:D  **)
