Some companies have robust volunteer programs, where employees can log their volunteer hours with local charities/non-profits that they support. I'm lucky enough to work for one of these. Your company may do things differently, but based on volunteer hours, it can be a surprisingly decent amount.
So check your company rules, ask about matching gifts, and help out your favorite 501(c)3 educational non-profit/charity.
