I want to thank everyone who helped with the 3-day range work weekend! With all the support we received, we completed many much-needed tasks. A special thank-you to Wiley Coyote, who towed his Bobcat skid steer all the way from Tennessee. Using the Bobcat, he removed the 500-yard wall, cleaned up the camping area, built new stairs leading to the huts, and covered the trenches I dug for the new electrical system for the pop-up targets. Devereux worked alongside Charles (Wiley Coyote) to build the steps, clean up the camping area, and tackle other tasks. Pewpewnicorn and her partner painted tables all weekend, and they look fantastic! Doni and Jim painted the instructor area at the 25-yard line and cleaned it up—it looks incredible. My brother Jim also helped with painting and general cleanup. The guys from the field shoot event—Randy, Lawson, Eli, and I—trenched the ditch for the electrical system and installed the wires for the target machines. Overall, the range has received a huge facelift.
Many thanks to all those who helped out at the Home Range work weekend.
We hope to get another work day on the calendar for 2026 in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

That's awesome work, everybody! Thank you, thank you for putting in all the time and effort to make the Ramseur home range a better experience for all our shooters and instructors! I can't wait to see it in person.
Wow! That's a lot of hard work in a short amount of time. Thanks guys! Thanks for organizing it Hawkeye and posting the pictures.

On behalf of the board of directors, a great big THANK YOU to Hawkeye and Wiley Coyote and all of the volunteers who made this happen. The range has not looked this good, nor been this safe, in a decade. We were up there some months ago looking at the condition of the range, and the difference is stunning.
You guys rock!

Hello Troops,
I had a blast working at Ramsuer during the clean up weekend. I enjoyed the folks I have gotten to know over the last couple years and enjoyed meeting a few new faces. The peaceful camp at night was super enjoyable. I do remember in an earlier post that an adult "ticket@ to an event would be earned. My son would like to accompany me to the Pigeon Forge event next month. Could I use this "ticket" for that ? If so how do I register him ? Thank you all for the awesome work and look forward to returning to Ramsuer in a couple weeks !!!!

I'll send you a PM.
Thanks for helping out.
That looks amazing! I can't wait to see everything this coming week at the RBC!!!
