I know we have a lot of history buffs here so I thought I'd post this short book, 23 pages, called the Fate of Empires. I'd read bits and pieces of this previously but never the whole thing. Funny how the lives of most empires are about 250 years. And what's really funny is how each one crashes in an identical manner.

Outstanding!
Great stuff!
Still getting through this as I have time here and there, but so far it's a great read.
I've shared this book with many people over the years and it always amazes me how folks think 'it cannot happen here'. Well it sure can, and we're following the blueprint.
I enjoyed reading that. I have my theories on why the behavior is as it is, but I believe that explaining them would break more house rules than it would keep, so I must not do so.

lol - same here. A deeper dive into the history of two of the empires proved very interesting. I've yet to look into the other empires mentioned in the book though.
