We had perfect weather for our 2 day pistol clinic at the Garnet School (https://garnetschool.com/) in Candia, NH. A huge thank you to Brian for hosting us, what a great facility. We had nine students hailing from New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Our instructors came from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New York. The Northeast Region was well represented.
I just have come out and say it: at the end of the first day we had 6 of the 9 students qualified with 2 scoring distinguished. However, at the end of the second day we had the other 3 students qualified.
ALL NINE STUDENTS EARNED THEIR Pistoleer™™ PATCHES !!!
Oh yeah, we had and IIT qualify for the first time, another re-qualify, and our AC/RSO volunteer shoot her personal best.
Congratulations to our students, you guys were a pleasure to teach and your efforts and attention paid off:
Babar 240, Chris 230 (irons), Tata 232, Mumford 227, Matt H 222, Matt G 214, Derick 212, Peter 211, and Sam 210. This was a fantastic effort and an absolute joy as a shoot boss to have every student earn their patch.
Congratulations to Cannibal for earning his patch with a 226, ShaneO for a "yeah I'll shoot one" re-qualification of 211, and to Rifle Rabbit for working really hard and shooting her personal best 136 as a Sharpshooter.
We split the line into two teams, Team Top Seed and Team Good Guys and did a Parker's Revenge Target inspired game with the big dot / little dot target. The two teams of 5 had 30 rounds to put hits on each of the dots. No more than 3 hits in each dot would be counted. Smallest dots worth 5 points, reversed to biggest dot worth 1 point for a maximum score of 90. After a 5 minute prep period, and 25 seconds to fire, Team Good Guys edged out Team Top Seed 80 to 71. Great job guys.

This was my first Pistol Clinic. I had a fantastic time and was really happy with my own progress at the event. Huge thanks to all the volunteers for your time and effort. Extra special thanks to whoever arranged the weather! 🌞
Looking forward to the next one!
